By donating online, you have the option to set up a monthly sustaining contribution, which helps POWER continue our important work year-round.

Why should I donate?
Climate change and extreme weather events affect all of us, but they hit low-income families the hardest. The people who can least afford to improve their homes also struggle to pay high utility bills. Energy efficiency upgrades create long-term cost savings and increased comfort. POWER helps struggling families cover the cost of these important investments.
Your tax-deductible donation to POWER will improve the efficiency of homes in your community while simultaneously stimulating the economy and improving the environment. Energy efficiency measures are by far the most economical way to simultaneously solve the problems of rising energy costs, scarce energy resources, and environmental degradation.

Where does my donation go?
Much of the sustainable revolution is happening at the community level. While energy efficiency initiatives are being rolled back at the state and federal level, local communities retain the ability to move forward, and to lead from the ground up. POWER is doing just that.

Your donation allows us to offer the wrap-around services provided by POWER's Energy Advocate, such as identifying energy-efficiency programs and incentives for all residents, regardless of income. We continue to educate the community about energy efficiency measures, and provide outreach regarding POWER’s own services.

Renewable energy and efficiency projects require upfront capital and result in long-term reductions in CO2 emissions. When you fund these projects, you keep carbon out of the atmosphere.

By donating to POWER, you do more than prevent greenhouse gases from entering the atmosphere. You also improve the lives of your neighbors. POWER offsets carbon by making our housing, businesses and churches as efficient as possible.
